Once again, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas set the stage for an amazing mash-up of music and entertainment events with a diverse weekend featuring celebrity poker and exhilarating music.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, a myriad of professional athletes joined forces for a high-stakes poker tournament.  Jason Terry, Richard Jefferson, Greg Odom, Chase Budinger, Hasheem Thabeetand Damon Jones were among the many who participated in this weekend’s star-studded event at Queue Bar

The eclectic 2011 concert lineup continued at The Boulevard Pool on Friday night with renowned co-headliners TV On The Radio and Arctic Monkeys, two bands known for their poetic lyrics and vivacious live performances.  The main acts were opened by the equally as captivating Smith Westerns, an indie-rock band hailing from Chicago, Ill.  Then on Saturday, guests gathered to see cult favorite American band Bright Eyes rock the center-Strip outdoor stage.  Bright Eyes appeared with special guests Kurt Vile and The Violators and Warpaint, two acts whose experimental sounds perfectly reverberated into the headliner’s set.
