The Empowerment Column (54): “Don’t Miss the Point”

By Rev. Thabiti

For the limited amount of time we get to live let’s not miss the point of being here today.  Let’s take this moment to pause and dismiss all distractions of fear, anger, worry, guilt, situations and circumstances. We now release and let go of everything that has been obstructing our ability to be aware of and present with the underlying stillness and silence dwelling deep within our soul.

Every time we reconnect with this stillness and silence we discover again that all is well and life is good.  We will not miss the point today that our life is a gift to enjoy each minute and not something that is designed to conform to everything we want.

Our life is always a mirror

Mirror

reflecting our attitude, perception and belief.

What comes into our everyday experience is not the law of attraction but the law of reflection because the electromagnetic law of attraction means that only the polar opposites (North and South) attract.  Two North ends or two South ends will repel and push each other away.  Mother Nature reveals and demonstrates her reflective beauty everywhere.

This way it becomes easier to understand this reflective law that we see the world not as it is but as we are.  Every experience happens at the point of reflection (get the point?) or the place between inhaling and exhaling or between our inner and outer worlds.  We will always get a better outcome every time we improve our attitude because of the law of reflection.

Are you still upset about what happened yesterday or earlier today? Are you holding onto any anger or bitterness towards anyone because of what they did to you or someone you love? If so, please let it go now!  Get off it now!  Exhale it out and release it.  Nothing has dominion over you unless you say so.  Let it dissolve right back into the nothingness it came from.  Holding onto negative thoughts or feelings is self defeating, very toxic and poisons the soul.  It also distracts us from the point of being here right now.

The point of being here right now is for our soul to become spiritually awake enough to experience each minute as a sacred gift that comes from the Giver and Provider of all things.  The point in being here is for you to become a conscious place for Pure Spirit to demonstrate its beauty and magic in, through and as you.

The point in reading this right now is to allow ourselves to be empowered and transformed in new ways that lead to our breakthrough over any obstacle or barriers and triumph into a fully activated spiritual awareness.

Eternal Blessings,

This week is dedicated to the life of Fredrick “Paul” Karres, founder of the Nevada Leadership Institute who passed away last week.   Paul graduated from the US Coast Guard Academy and served as a commissioned officer in the USCG before getting his MBA at Harvard Business School.  Paul taught the Carnegie Course for years and inspired countless scores of people.  Paul Karres was the first male to receive the dedication in the Empowerment Column #2.  May Paul’s soul Rest In Paradise as we give thanks for his years of devoted and inspirational service in Las Vegas.
