The Empowerment Column (56): “ATTENTION EVERYONE & especially you!”

Our attention is the most powerful asset we have. “Energy flows where the attention goes” is the popular phrase going around today.  All of Life in our moment to moment experience follows the attention from one thing to the next.  If we keep our attention on depressing things, we will be depressed.  If we keep our attention on happier things, we will be happier.  If we can say “Out of sight – out of mind” then we can also say “Out of attention – out of existence.” The point is nothing can come into existence for you without the consenting participation of your attention.

In this moment of renewed empowerment we come together to direct our collective attention on the beauty, love, light, truth and goodness that is revealing itself at all times and can always be found and experienced within the stillness and silence dwelling deep inside our souls.  We are still in possession of the same innocence of a child that is absolutely awestruck by the wonder, power and beauty of a majestic Universe.

When examining the power of our attention a little deeper we can catch insights into our greatness and in seeing that we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience that are created in the image and likeness of something that is way beyond magnificent.  The gift and power of your attention is so great that if you put your attention on the moon then there is literally where your attention is, or you can bring the moon or anything else imaginable, to your powerful attention.

This is how people in the past were able to endure extended periods of captivity or imprisonment for they learned how to use the power of their attention to escape from being where they are physically.  This is also how many individuals became super successful was by seizing or reclaiming control of their attention and keeping it focused on the objective, target or goal and as far away as possible from any distractions.

As we look a little deeper into this we must ask what is driving or determining the direction of our attention?  Who determines what you put your attention on?  Who determines what gets the most of your attention?  The answer is – You!  You live inside the central command station of your soul or beingness.  From here, you get to choose or decide who and/or what gets your attention and what doesn’t.  You are the director and driver of your attention with all of the control buttons at your fingertips with power so fast it moves at the speed of thought.

Some of the popular teachings today are saying “Do not give attention to things you don’t want to happen because this adds power for it to come into existence and increases the possibility for it to happen.”  Therefore whether it’s true or not, let’s keep our attention on what is good and great about being alive while keeping our Spiritual awareness fully activated.  Let’s keep our attention on the love intelligence that is guiding us through this wonderful journey and providing the gift of a brand new minute, a brand new hour and a brand new day.  Let’s keep our attention on the constant gratitude guiding our hearts for our priceless gift of Life.  Our Life is our greatest teacher that’s always providing honest feedback to us for all of our actions.

There is no such thing as failure, only feedback.  There is no obstacle that cannot be overcome or any challenge that cannot be met whenever we combine our focused attention with persistent action.
