The Empowerment Column (57): “WHO’S AT FAULT?”

If you’re unhappy or miserable then it must be somebody else’s fault, right?  Have you noticed others who may act this way? This aspect of us is referred to as our Ego.  Some say that it means:

Edging-God-Out

The ego is that aspect of our being that believes it is always right and is also that part of us that makes others wrong.  It is that part of us that wants to believe it matters more than it really does.  We come into this moment to reclaim any power that we have been giving to things we blame.  We stand firm in our commitment to take full responsibility for how we respond-ability to anything that happens.  We know that everyone is doing the best they can, given their situation, circumstance, awareness and understanding.

The Blame Game

The parents are blaming the teachers and the teachers are blaming the parents.  The Republicans are blaming the Democrats and the Democrats are blaming the Republicans.  Blaming and excuses is the recipe that losers use to fail.  Taking responsibility kills the ego and all of its falseness.  We cannot control everything but we can control our response to anything.  Our response to things that happen reveals the truth about our level of maturity.

Right now we disconnect from the ego, any selfishness and any me-ness and reconnect our attention on that silent giant dwelling within us that stands behind us as the invisible witness that hears our thoughts and feels our feelings.  Just for this moment we choose to be liberated and free from any self imposed limitations that have been obstructing our ability to remain focused, alert and alive with a Spiritual awareness that is fully activated all of the time.  We take this time to rejoice and celebrate in Spirit of Gratitude for this sacred, sweet and precious gift of Life.

For now, we agree to step aside from ego and allow more and more beauty, love and goodness to flow through us to find greater expression in everything that we think, say and do.  We know that all of Life and the entire cosmos will respond to our actions and deeds accordingly with exact mathematical precision and a most punctual Divine timing.

What’s happening to you is the result of what is happening through you.  What is happening through you is a transformation similar to a seed transforming into a tree.  “As ye sow, so shall ye reap” is the plane of law we live on existing between inhaling and exhaling or between our inner and outer worlds.  In the beginning of this process the seed is breaking down and falling apart and doesn’t understand what is happening to itself until it begins to take root and grow into a mighty tree.

The breakdowns that we often experience are the result of the seeds of intention that we plant in the soil of our soul taking root without realizing that we are actually being given what we deeply desire in this grand scale process unfolding as Life.  This is why we say that we are not on the verge of any tragic breakdown but on the verge of a transformational breakthrough.

We are absolutely convinced that all is well and Life is good no matter what!  The light of our Spiritual nature is shining through right now in this instant.  More goodness happening to us all right now is the order of this great day of transformation.  We are ready to take on ‘the What Next’ in our living experience with our hearts and our minds wide open and receptive to the wonderful gift of this day.  We stand right where we are and raise our voluntary hands to say “Yes, we are available to live in humble service to the Spirit.”  We surrender to and allow the Spirit to handle everything beyond our capabilities and we allow love, truth and goodness to guide us along the way.  We give thanks for the love and great beauty we are constantly being given by the Giver and Provider of all things.

As we enter and step into the gateway of our soul and into the newness and nowness of this moment we reconnect with the power governing Life that says “For I make all things new.”  We are in the perfect situation at the perfect time in the same way that the moon orbits the Earth in perfect lunar phases every month.  We know that what is really happening comes from the love intelligence that put us here.  We have arrived right now into a Spiritual awareness that is fully activated by the light of truth shining through us that cleanses, liberates and unshackles us from the suffering and misery caused by mistaken illusions, an erroneous perception or false belief.
