The Empowerment Column (58): “At Our Wit’s End”

Right now it is time to pick ourselves up and brush off a little bit as we prepare to take another step into the great mystery and adventure of being alive today.  At times we can get blind sighted by a cosmic meteor collision that momentarily distracts us from a perception rooted in joy, peace, goodness, love and beauty.  We come into this moment to remember that there is better, more and beyond what was yesterday or even a few minutes ago.

Today we refocus our attention on the underlying stillness and peaceful silence that is the restful dwelling place of our soul.  We do this to relax and reconnect to our awareness in being.   As we activate more of our spiritual awareness we reclaim and take back the power we gave away to anything that bothered us.

The only way we can arrive at our wit’s end is when we use our power in ways that makes us refuse to trust and allow the greater good to do what and all that it does in its own timeframe to do it.  Being at our ‘wit’s end’ means we mistakenly think that we have exhausted the inexhaustible in creating innovative solutions and new ideas.  Now that we are reconnected to the power of our total being containing the complete stillness and the absolute silence within itself, we return to the source or home of all knowledge and the field of endless possibilities.

From within we draw upon and call forth more of our latent, infinite and greater potential to be expressed through us in ways to overcome the obstacles we face and challenges ahead.  Since Life cannot deny its own nature of healing, restoration and balance then all cosmic forces exist to serve us and guide us to the best that is yet in store for us.

Oftentimes we are not able to understand the process of Life unfolding in ways seemingly adverse to our desires.  These are the best moments to surrender and let go of trying to understand everything and just keep on moving or climbing until you reach higher ground.  Straight ahead is not very far if we only get up and advance one more step into the great mystery and adventure of being alive today.
