The Empowerment Column 2012: “The Ace of Hearts”

“In the beginning God…” is how the whole story begins.  The Ace of Hearts is naturally and mathematically the first card in the deck and the heart located in the center of the card symbolizes our true origin.  It symbolizes that from the goodness of this One Heart everything came into existence.  It is the symbol of the love intelligence that keeps governing our universe and is the sole fundamental reason why we heal.  This heart represents the inverted flame or the fire of desire that got things moving and keeps things moving throughout creation.  This heart is the symbol of the One Love or Universal Oneness that is expressed as everything.  Love is why we are here.  Love is what caused us to come into being.  Love is what continues to tolerate us in spite of our shortcomings and seeming imperfections.

Love and Goodness are completely synonymous.

The Ace of Hearts is the First Card also meaning the First Cause and sits on the highest throne for simply being the Highest First.  The heart in the center of the card also symbolizes the Giver and Provider of all things.  From this Divine Love we are given the Earth with all of its treasure containing more air than we can breathe, more water than we can drink, more people than we can all meet, more stars than we can count and more places than we can visit, more books than we can read and more websites than we can click on.  Our life is a magnificent gift that comes loaded with infinite opportunities and endless possibilities.  For all of this there is at least a huge cause for thanks.

Since we have such a variety of opposing beliefs and opinions, let’s come together today to at least agree, that earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes all provide universal proof that man himself does not run the show here on Earth.  Let’s also agree that our opposing beliefs are no match to the greater universal power that puts everyone on the toilet seat regardless of any belief we may feel or think.

Therefore, we yield right now to the governing power of this loving presence being expressed everywhere in all of its glory, fullness and beauty.  We will continue to count on the fact that the sunrise can never be late for the only thing that Nature cannot do is violate her own laws.  We activate our inner ear to hear the sweet silence so that we may find the “peace be still” at any time.  We now activate our inner eye to see the radiant light that is shining through to remove darkness that was obstructing our ability to enjoy this awesome gift of life today.

We discover that things like fear, anger, worry and guilt are overcome, dissolved or eliminated whenever we find our way back into the unlimited power of love.  Because love exists as the basis or at the center of it all is why we know that everything happens for our higher good and especially at those moments that transcend mortal, intellectual or logical understanding.

As we kick off this first day of the year on Sunday (the first day of the week) and begin the first week of a brand new year that’s coming from our common and central source that makes all things new (symbolized for us today as the Ace of Hearts, the first card in the deck) we open up our own hearts and minds to be receptive to this wonderful, magnificent and sacred gift that the year 2012 is anointed, ordained and sanctioned to be.

To the First Cause and Highest First, we surrender, release and let go of any old baggage of disappointment, bitterness or resentment we were carrying around last year.  This year we begin by saying to the Giver and Provider of all things “Our breath begins and ends in Thee” and we will continue to live from this moment on anchored in our deepest and strongest level of gratitude for your sweet generosity of allowing all of us to be here during the best time there has ever been to be alive.
