The Nevada native DJ will set the Gardens soaring with his pop-infused, dance remixes

LAS VEGAS – February 2, 2012 – Record producer, re-mix artist and multi-instrumentalist, DJ Chris Cox, will take over Chateau Gardens as guest DJ at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas on Saturday, Feb. 11. One of the most successful dance music artists in America, Cox will transform the lush gardens into a high-energy dance-party scene.

Cox has become one of the most respected and popular names in the dance DJ scene, headlining parties, festivals and residencies with his signature celebratory, bigger-than-life sets in nightlife Mecca’s such as Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, London, New York City, Montreal, Chicago and his hometown of Las Vegas.

Along with a discography of more than 400 productions, remixes and mix compilations and 43 number one Billboard Dance Hits, it came as no surprise that Cox was nominated for a 2004 “Best Dance Recording” Grammy for co-production of Cher’s “Love One Another.” He is also the recipient of the 2000 and 2002 IDMA award for “Remix of the Year.”

After receiving such accolades, Cox received multiple opportunities to create mixes for solo-artists such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Rhianna, Fall Out Boy, Kelly Osbourne, Celine Dion and Shirley Bassey to name a few. Then in 2008, after collaborating with up-and-coming superstar Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana 2: Non-Stop Dance Party, the album shot to #1 on the Billboard Electronic Album charts. Since then, Cox has been residing in Los Angeles and performing his crowd pleasing live sets across the country, always including a stop in Las Vegas where his whirlwind career started.
