UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HOSTS WYOMING ON SATURDAY ON THE MTN.

Tickets for the game in the Cox Pavilion are just $1

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -
After having its four-game win streak snapped at Colorado State on Wednesday night, the UNLV Lady Rebels look to bounce back and begin another streak when they host the Wyoming Cowgirls on Saturday at 4 pm in the Cox Pavilion, in a game televised by the Mtn. Despite having a league-high tying 17 wins this year, this is the first conference game for UNLV to be televised this season. All tickets for the game are just $1, while kids 12 and under are always free.

UNLV is tied for second in the Mountain West with Colorado State with a 5-2 record. The Lady Rebels do have one advantage over the Rams, as they will play four of the final seven games at home, including the season finale against CSU on Senior Day on Feb. 27.

The Lady Rebels are looking for a season sweep of the Cowgirls for the first time since the 2003-04 season. UNLV claimed a win in the first meeting, 54-51 in Laramie on Jan. 11. UNLV has only two season sweeps in the last three years, and both were against Air Force (2008-09, 2009-10), but this is also a Lady Rebel squad with its most wins in eight years.
