Christmas Under The Sea at Silverton Casino Hotel & “Skip The Strip” New Year’s Eve

Silverton Casino Hotel is turning this holiday season into something to remember with a submerging Santa Clause in the resort’s 117,000 gallon aquarium to offer guests and families a chance to get creative with their yearly Christmas photos and have some fun.  Guests can watch Santa and his elves interact with the kids and 4,000 tropical fish, sharks and stingrays on Saturdays and Sunday in December leading to Christmas.  Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

Silverton Casino Hotel invites you to “Skip The Strip” this New Year’s Eve with music, food and amazing deals on a total night to remember.  For $20 you can ring in the New Year without the crowds and traffic.  Guests will receive a wristband valid for all you can drink at all casino bars from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. and also gets you access to the DJ Dance Party beginning at 10 p.m. inside the Veil Pavilion.

New Year’s Eve specialty menus at Twin Creeks Steakhouse $52 per person includes Yukon potato and caramelized leek soup with sliced black truffle fingerling chips or mixed winter greens salad with triple cream brie, Asian pear, candied pecans and a champagne vinaigrette. Entree choices include seafood risotto with pan seared scallops, Maine lobster and sea bass tossed with asparagus, tomato, wild mushroom, parmesan, micro greens and finished with a lemon butter sauce or a grilled 14-oz. bone-in filet with grilled asparagus, king trumpet mushrooms, blue cheese potato puree and a veal-demi-glace. Guests can also choose between a warm chocolate molten cake, classic crème brulee or mixed berries with Chantal cream for dessert.

For $75 per person a Five-Course Menu includes Maine lobster claw cocktail with sea beans, lemon, drawn butter and cocktail sauce or a twice-baked parmesan soufflé with crispy prosciutto, basil pesto, roasted tomato aged balsamic and parmesan. Seasons Buffet invite guests to ring in the new year with a feast featuring Snow Crab legs, Scampi Station with shrimp, scallops and mussels, Prime Rib of Beef, Mustard Crusted Leg of Lamb served with salads, delicious sides, a wide fish selection and much, much more. Cost: $26.99 per person; $24.99 per person with Silverton Rewards Club Card; Children 4 – 6 are half price; Children 7 or older are regular price.
