One Drop Hosts Philanthropic Luncheon For Vice Chair, Founding Member France Chretien Desmarais

On Nov. 15, ONE DROP – a nonprofit initiative of Cirque du Soleil Founder Guy Laliberté – hosted an afternoon luncheon for a group of 15 Las Vegas philanthropists to introduce the Vice Chair and founding member, France Chrétien Desmarais.

Nevada Ballet Theatre Board of Trustee member, Audra Baldwin, opened her Southern Highlands home for an intimate luncheon, while Desmarais spoke to the group about ONE DROP’s mission to ensure that water is accessible to all, and how it generates positive, sustainable change worldwide.

Guests enjoyed a catered lunch from the Southern Highlands Golf Club including split heart of palm with mixed greens, tomato three ways, parmesan crisp and champagne vinaigrette drizzle; fresh grilled halibut with red and yellow tomatoes, artichoke hearts and lemon beurre blanc sauce; and grilled asparagus. The final course, a delectable lemon semifreddo with fresh berries, was served to the room around 1:30 p.m. and co-host Audra Baldwin thanked everyone for coming on behalf of ONE DROP.
