Celebrities turn out for Sir Elton John’s birthday and grand opening of FIZZ Las Vegas

Friday night was star-studded as FIZZ Las Vegas inside of Caesars Palace held its official Grand Opening as well as celebrating the birthday of Sir Elton John. The amazing venue is under the creative direction of Elton’s partner David Furnish. Guests sang Happy Birthday to Elton as a three-tiered birthday cake was delivered. Among the guests of the intimate gathering, Kelly Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, Quincy Jones, front man of The Killers Brandon Flowers, David Spade, Nicolas Cage, The Band Perry, Thomas Hitzlsperger, members of Scissor Sisters, Britt Ekland, Kevin Farley and Peter Asher. Guests mingled inside and enjoyed specialty cocktails like the FIZZ Noir and of course, a lot of bubbly! On the way into FIZZ Las Vegas, some of the guests like Sharon and Elton stopped to pose for photos with fans.

The Today Show’s Matt Lauer also attended the party as a guest. Lauer was in Las Vegas to shoot a segment with the couple which will air Monday on The Today Show (NBC).

Positioned between The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and Forum Shops at Caesars, FIZZ Las Vegas brings a new energy to the main floor of the popular hotel and casino. Owners Steve Kennedy and Michael Greco of Marvel Management and Marketing have worked alongside Creative Director David Furnish and Designer Todd-Avery Lenahan (TAL Studio) to create a unique, intimate space. FIZZ Las Vegas was created to reflect the personal style of David and Sir Elton John, as if they were entertaining at home – even housing 51 pieces of their private colored photography collection. FIZZ Las Vegas features a selection of high-end champagnes by the glass and carefully-curated spirits. Working with Furnish and Sir Elton John’s personal chef, exquisite choices of caviar, gourmet paninis and small plates compliment the beverage selection. The 2,750-square-foot lounge celebrates the crossroad between champagne and couture cocktail offerings with art, fashion and design.
