The Las Vegas Outlaws of the Arena Football League hosted the Portland Thunder in a contentious battle that was settled with a last second touchdown by the local squad to earn a 48-46 victory.

The June 27, 2015 battle was hard fought, marred by penalties and ejections, but kept the crowd active and engaged. The Outlaws, owned by rocker Vince Neil, have struggled in their first year as an expansion team. This is the second AFL team to call Las Vegas home, the Gladiators have moved to Cleveland Ohio.

But even a low turnout (approximately 3000 plus on average) has not dented the enthusiasm of either the players and their loudly loyal followers. The crowd was eventually satisfied as the local team never quit and delivered the last second win in regulation.
