Berger & Son Fine Jewelers, a premier destination for one-of-a-kind fine jewelry and timepieces, began construction on a new location that’s more than double in size of the existing store. As the longest-running independent retailer in Fashion Show Las Vegas, owner and designer Stuart Berger has earned industry-wide recognition and become a successful local business despite recessions, mall buyouts and big chain competition. But what’s most exciting is Berger’s newest venture – a new location debuting in December with an extensive new line of jewelry, timepieces, and services.

Through the years, Berger & Son has maintained a strong local and tourist following. This success has allowed Berger to expand, which will offer customers more selection, additional luxury timepiece brands and a larger inventory of fine jewelry. New brands that will be incorporated into the new location include Lana Jewelry, Scott Kay, KC Designs, Movado and more.

The new location will be located just steps inside the front doors of the Fashion Show mall on Las Vegas Blvd. (The Strip). Expanding its retail space from 1,000 square feet in the current location to more than double the size at 2,500 square feet, the new store will feature a sleek and modern architectural design that will provide a fashion forward destination for shoppers searching for upscale, high fashion jewelry. Inspired by an ornate chandelier that will appear in the middle of the store, the color schematic includes white, cream, light grey and marble. This unique, cutting-edge store will raise the bar for competition by featuring an exclusive VIP parlor with private service for jewelry design consultations. In addition, Berger & Son will now feature a full time on-premise jeweler and watchmaker for custom designs, repairs and appraisals.

To handle the architectural and interior design, Berger & Son has appointed renowned jewelry store designer Ron Harris with Watt International Design Group, an internationally recognized retail design firm that has designed such award-winning properties as Goldsmiths in the UK, Charm Diamond Centres and The Vault in Canada. Harris plans to enhance Berger & Son’s brand presence with a retail concept that will drive growth, improve visual merchandising and increase the quantity of in-store displays, offering a superior customer experience. The new store is scheduled to open during the first week of December, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
