Haunted Halloween Party at Sagos

Informer Halloween 3By Informer Staff

Ghouls, ghosts and goblins descended upon Sagos Tavern when the Las Vegas Informer of the Informer Media Group held its Haunted Halloween Party. The party featured drink specials creatively crafted by the staff at Sagos, psychic readings by the professionals at Readings by Annette and costume contests for scariest, sexiest and duo costumes.

According to Joe Buda, publisher of the Las Vegas Informer, Sagos was the perfect venue to have the event. “We at the Informer absolutely love Sagos,” Buda explained. “The drinks are top-notch, the food is delicious and the staff always seems to take perfect care of us.”

The Halloween-themed drinks really added to the haunted atmosphere. There was something to satisfy every ghost, witch and super hero in attendance. “The spooky Halloween-themed cocktails were the best,” Buda recalled. “My absolute favorite was the Vampire Blood shot.”

“I really loved the cocktails,” said Debbie Hall. “They added a special touch to the party.”

Karen and Vince, two sinister guests, agreed. “We love zombies and Vampire Blood shot is the best!” said Karen as Vince downed another drink.

Informer Halloween 20Adding to the atmosphere were the psychic readings.  According to Buda, this was his first time having a reading by Annette and he was impressed. “It amazed me how much insight Annette offers in her readings,” Buda explained. “I will definitely be going back in the future.”

Another party goer, Denise, was impressed with how accurate Annette was with her reading. “It was spooky in a good way. She really helped me.”

Halloween parties can be judged by the creativity and quality of the costumes. This party did not disappoint.

“I was really blown away by all of the inventive costumes,” Buda stated. “We had Wayne and Garth from ‘Wayne’s World,’ Batman and Batgirl, mobsters, the undead and many more.” “Even the devil showed up,” Buda added.

“I was so impressed by the costumes,” Hall said. “I am always amazed at how creative people are. We had real life characters at the party.”

The costume contests’ featured prizes were provided by Salt Room LV, Las Vegas Haunts and Smacktalk Sports.

“What can I say about the prizes, there was definitely something for everyone,” Buda stated. “The gift bags from Salt Room LV included sessions in their innovative salt cave. I tried the salt cave there a few weeks ago and it really helped me relax and breathe a lot better.”

Las Vegas Haunts provided passes to the Asylum and Hotel Fear haunted houses.

Informer Halloween 7“I went through Hotel Fear and the Asylum previously, they were great,” George Watson, an enthusiastic guest said. “I really liked the way they had a shared story.”

Smacktalk Sports donated passes to the NHRA Motorcycle Races. Hosts Tony Gaglione and Shawn Adams of Smacktalk Sports were dressed as Wayne and Garth from “Wayne’s World” and broadcast live from Sagos on Sunday during football games.

“We are grateful for all of the people who donated prizes and we will have a bigger party next year,” Buda said.

The Haunted Halloween Party at Sagos was spooky, sexy and the perfect way to celebrate an early Halloween.
