Here is where Tarkanian stands on the issues.

Taxes: Our federal tax system is littered with tax breaks and loopholes for the power, privileged and influential. It is unfair to the rest that are paying more than their fair share. I will vote to eliminate all of these special tax breaks and loopholes and reduce the tax rate for everyone else.

Government Debt: Our country’s current debt is more than $19 trillion, and has increased $7 trillion over the past 7 years. We need to reduce our government spending or the value of the US currency will significantly drop in value. We need to eliminate wasteful spending, eliminate nonessential programs, We must also make tough choices to reduce the cost of social security, Medicare and Medicaid,

Regulations: We need to eliminate all unreasonable regulations which are crippling our businesses and preventing a full economic recovery. There should be a balancing act on all regulations, balance the need for said regulation against the burden of the regulation to businesses.
